Resumen:
El presente proyecto de investigación ha sido desarrollado recopilando y transcribiendo
el material de la difunta poeta Delia Cifuentes. La investigación se la realizó a través de
entrevistas a diferentes especialistas en las ramas de: Literatura (Katy Ortega), Diseño
Editorial (María Mercedes Salgado) e ilustración (Carlos Morejón) con el objetivo de
resguardar en un producto impreso que cumpla las leyes y normas de diseño para los
lectores, adicionalmente se realizó investigación bibliográfica para entender el diseño de
retículas y a la literatura Ecuatoriana. Durante el proceso de investigación se encontró
que parte de el desconocimiento acerca de resguardar las obras no publicadas de los
diferentes artistas difuntos se debe al poco interés e importancia que se le ha ido dando
a los elementos que conforman nuestra identidad mestiza Ecuatoriana, siendo que la
literatura es una de las expresiones más hermosas al momento de generar códigos
de comunicación de lo que representa ser ecuatoriano, la forma más transparente de
cómo se piensa y se siente, que lamentablemente ha ido perdiendo cada vez más
espacio en los medios de comunicación que se dedicaban a transmitir y difundir dicho
arte, al igual que productos que ayuden a la difusión de la literatura y sus diferentes
exponentes.

This research project has been developed by collecting and transcribing the material of
the late poet Delia Cifuentes. The research was made through interviews with various
specialists in the fields of Literature (Katy Ortega), Editorial Design (Maria Mercedes
Salgado) and illustration (Carlos Morejon) with the aim of protecting a printed product
