Resumen:
El proyecto Circo Social es una iniciativa de la Vicepresidencia de la república del
Ecuador, tiene como objetivo brindar a los jóvenes un espacio donde puedan
desarrollarse tanto social como artísticamente mediante un proceso pedagógico donde las
artes circenses son el eje fundamental de aprendizaje.
La tecnología avanza a pasos agigantados en cuanto a formas de transmitir un mensaje,
una de ellas; la tecnología Livestream. Una tecnología capaz de emitir archivos
multimedia en tiempo real a través de la web, es decir, permite visualizar a tiempo real un
evento desde su hogar, oficina o cualquier parte del mundo a través de un ordenador o
Smartphone con conexión a internet.
La finalidad del presente proyecto es comunicar sobre ¿qué es? el Circo Social Quito y
mostrar las expresiones artísticas que se forman en este espacio, a través del programa
online “CIRCO EN VIVO”.

ABSTRACT
The Social Circus is an initiative by the Ecuadorian vice Presidency. The main purpose of
its creation was to provide teenager with an space in which they could develop socially
and artistically through a pedagogical process where the circus arts are the cornerstone.
During the last decades technology has taken giant leaps in the improvement and
creations of new communication means; one of the most important and that has influenced
the society behavior is “Live Streaming”, which lets users witness events in real time, and
even share any kind of file with friends or co-workers, from anywhere in the world to
anywhere in the world, needing nothing but an Internet connection in any laptop, pc, tablet
or smartphone.
Therefore and considering the above the objective of this project is to introduce the Social
Circus through “Circus Online”, a live-stream show aimed to highlight the importance of
this art in the community, and also to serve as a showroom for artistic expression surging
within the Social Circus project.
