dc.description	This project focuses on the need to educate visitors and users of how different places in the Cotopaxi National Park and thus unfolds the path that leads to the Cotopaxi Volcano, through the development of an editorial product, visual graphic character that incorporates the activities taking place at the site. We investigated and collected data on sources of information such as references, expert opinions, printed publications, and knowledge. The research was conducted using methodologies and techniques and instruments of study and interviews with experts about the place, ways of living and design in products already made above; surveys of people related to the visit of the Cotopaxi National Park as people who ascend the volcano. The editorial product, which governs the issue of informative and instructive material comprises interconnected with the reader, an instructional book, and on the other hand, a CD with digital information. To prepare the final product, theories concerning Graphic Design, Editorial and Digital, also applied the methodology previously selected for the graphic communication process and matter, all these are fundamental to the development of the Instruction Book. dc.description.abstract	El presente proyecto se orienta en la necesidad de instruir a los visitantes y usuarios de cómo se despliega los distintos lugares en el Parque Nacional Cotopaxi y por ende la ruta que lleva hacia el Volcán Cotopaxi, por medio de la elaboración de un producto editorial, de carácter gráfico visual que incorpora las actividades que se desarrollan en el lugar. Se investigó y recopiló datos de fuentes de información como las referencias bibliográficas, juicios de expertos, publicaciones impresas, y conocimientos adquiridos. La investigación, se realizó aplicando metodologías y técnicas e instrumentos de estudio como entrevistas a expertos acerca del lugar, formas de convivencia y diseño en productos ya realizados anteriormente; encuestas dirigidas a personas relacionados a la visita del Parque Nacional Cotopaxi como a personas que asciendan al Volcán. El producto editorial, que se rige en la temática de informativo e instructivo, está compuesto por materiales interrelacionados con el lector, un libro y por otro lado, un CD con información digital. Para la elaboración del producto final, se aplicaron teorías referentes a Diseño Gráfico, Editorial y Digital, también la metodología seleccionada previamente para el proceso gráfico y materia de comunicación, todos estos, fundamentales para la elaboración del Libro Instructivo.
