dc.description	This is a research work about the graphic evolution of the musical poster in Quito city between 1999 and 2017, since there are not studies to support this issue of analysis, some gaps in the knowledge at technical, chromatic and typographic level are evidenced, which do not keep record of the development of the musical poster as a visual resource, showing or evidencing the compositional and conceptual trends that make it up as a method of artistic expression in the cultural field reflecting the folklore of the artistic collective to which it visually represents in order to transmit a message. On the other hand, it is desired to establish which similarities are still maintained from the first moment they were used and adopted as a broadcast channel for events at the local market, taking as a reference the research in the explanatory, historical and observational fields in an heuristic way in order to define and detail the conceptual and semantic metamorphosis that posters contain. The elements of study and analysis were taken from the Ministry of Culture and Heritage, which supports and spreads the interdisciplinary events of culture and art in Ecuador. Through several analysis techniques, it is possible to know about the graphic evolution that the poster has suffered and the visual impact it has generated in the population, particularly referring to the Quitenean and people residing in the Capital city of Ecuador. dc.description.abstract	El siguiente es un estudio realizado a la evolución gráfica del afiche musical en la ciudad de Quito, establecido entre los años 1999 al 2017. Puesto que no se aprecian estudios que sustenten este tema de análisis, por lo tanto, se aprecian vacíos en el conocimiento a nivel teórico técnico, cromático y tipográfico que documenten el avance que ha tenido el afiche como recurso visual. Que demuestre y se evidencie las tendencias compositivas y conceptuales que conforman el afiche como método de expresión artística, en el ámbito cultural que reflejan el folclore del colectivo artístico al cual está representando visualmente para transmitir mensajes. Por otro lado, se desea plantear las similitudes que aún se mantienen desde el momento que se emplearon y se adoptaron como canal de difusión para eventos a nivel local tomando como referencia la investigación en los ámbitos explicativos, históricos y observatorios de manera heurística para definir y detallar la metamorfosis conceptual y semántica que poseen los afiches. Los elementos de estudio y análisis se tomaron del Ministerio de Cultura y Patrimonio entidad la cual apoya y difunde eventos interdisciplinarios de cultura y arte a nivel de Ecuador. Mediante diversas técnicas de análisis se puede conocer sobre la evolución gráfica que ha variado el afiche y como ha sido el impacto visual que ha generado en la población particularmente referenciada a Quiteños y personas residentes en la Capital de Ecuador.
