Resumen:
La investigación se desarrolla en la ciudad de Quito, parte de una problemática sobre la deficiencia
en el orden artístico evidenciada dentro del nivel superior.
En esta investigación se han determinado insuficiencias en la formación de los estudiantes de
quinto y sexto semestre de la Carrera de Diseño Gráfico, en la cátedra del dibujo dentro de la
Universidad Israel, de la cual se deriva el siguiente problema que es: cómo contribuir a la formación
artística, además se plantea valorar si es necesario para el diseñador que se imparta esta cátedra de
manera adecuada. De lo antes mencionado se desarrollará un producto con el cual los estudiantes
podrán tener un sustento físico para que puedan aprender nuevas técnicas que ayuden a la
formación del dibujo artístico; por tanto, se desarrollará un manual de técnicas de ilustración que
contribuyan a la formación teórico práctica de los estudiantes de la Carrera de Diseño de la
Universidad Israel. La investigación se sustenta en una metodología que tiene un enfoque mixto
con una modalidad cuantitativa y cualitativa, la misma que aportará a los estudiantes a tener un
mejor aprendizaje en esta rama.

The research takes place, in the city of Quito. Part of a problematic is about the deficiency in the
artistic field in the higher levels. This research has identified insufficiencies in the training of
students of the fifth and sixth semester in Graphic Design in the chair of drawing within the Israel
University, from which the following problem is derived. To contribute to the artistic training, it is
also proposed to assess if it is necessary for the designer to give this chair in an appropriate manner,
from the aforementioned will be developed a product in which the students have a physical
sustenance where they can learn new techniques that help the formation of the artistic drawing.
Therefore a manual of techniques of illustration will be developed that contributes to the practical
theoretical formation of the students in the Race of Design of the Israel University. The research is
based on a methodology that has a mixed approach and a quantitative and qualitative
methodological that will contribute to the students to have a better learning in this branch.
