The Santa Catalina Experimental Station of the National Institute of Agricultural Research is an institution that provides services to small and large farmers in the Sierra Region, which, despite not having enough personnel in its administrative and accounting areas, fulfills its functions and With the presentation of its activities and with the fulfillment of its institutional objectives. Based on the information provided by its areas, it will be possible to continue with the elaboration of the proposed proposal. dc.description.abstract	El Sistema de Control Interno es de mucha importancia aplicar dentro de las organizaciones del Sector Público y Privado, y ha venido evolucionando dentro de los últimos años, ya que su uso permite verificar la eficiencia y efectividad que tiene la empresa en el mercado, a su vez permite el cumplimiento de los objetivos planteados. Las empresas que apliquen el control interno conocerá la situación real de sus operaciones, por lo que podemos verificar lo importante que es tener una planificación que sea capaz de comprobar que los controles se cumplan de acuerdo a la programación y darle una mejor visión de la gestión realizada. La Estación Experimental Santa Catalina del Instituto Nacional de Investigaciones Agropecuarias, es una institución que presta servicio a los pequeños y grandes agricultores de la Región Sierra, misma que pese a no contar con el suficiente personal en sus áreas administrativas y contables cumple con sus funciones, con la presentación de sus actividades y con el cumplimiento de su objetivos institucionales. En base a la información proporcionada por sus áreas se podrá continuar con la elaboración de la propuesta planteada.
