Resumen:
El presente trabajo muestra las mejoras en el sistema de transmisión de datos para el
Laboratorio 1-10 de la Universidad Tecnológica Israel, mediante el cambio de
elementos que forman parte del cableado estructurado, los medios de distribución de la
información como es el Switch de capa 2, el cual se cambió luego del análisis de las
nuevas tecnologías y de las características de los equipos que se tuvo en la instalación
inicial.
Se realizó una investigación mediante encuestas dirigido a profesores y alumnos del
laboratorio en mención con lo cual se captará la percepción, las necesidades que los
usuarios tienen, con esta información se obtuvo una visión general, adicional la
estructura del cableado, se exploró las distintas fases de las normas que intervienen, las
ventajas que se puede añadir al funcionamiento del sistema. En primera instancia el
diseño e implementación beneficiará a los estudiantes que aprovechan las instalaciones
del laboratorio, como segundo punto el avance tecnológico va a par del desarrollo y por
lo tanto se consideró puertos SFP a ser usado en un futuro.

The present document shows the improvements in the data transmission system for
the Laboratory 1-10 of the Technological University of Israel, by means of the change
of elements that are part of the structured cabling, the means of distribution of the
information in the Layer Switch 2, which was changed after the analysis of the new
technologies and the characteristics of the equipment that it had in the initial
installation.
An investigation was made by selection directed to professors and students of the
laboratory in mention with which the perception was captured, the needs that the users
have, with this information a general vision was obtained, additional to the wiring
structure, the different phases of the rules involved, and the advantages that can be
added to the functioning of the system. In the first instance, the design and the
implementation benefit the students who have opted for the facilities of the laboratory,
as a second point the technological advance for the development and as far as SFP is
concerned to be used in the future.
