dc.description	With this research thesis, an incident management system has been implemented for a financial institution in the Ecuadorian market. The problem that the institution had was solved since the volume of information was overflowing and the process of incident management lacked order. That is the Reading why, to establish the new organizational structure based on ITIL and with the development carried out, it was possible to improve the response time in the care of incidents by the service desk. For the development and implementation of the developments carried out, the Extreme Programming (XP) development methodology was used, which is considered an agile development methodology with which functional products are delivered in short periods of time. Based on the research work carried out, it was concluded that the implementation made it possible for the financial institution to improve the technological type of attention to users. dc.description.abstract	Con la presente tesis de investigación se implementó un sistema de gestión de incidencias para una institución financiera del mercado ecuatoriano. Se solucionó el problema que tenía la institución ya que el volumen de información se estaba desbordando y el proceso de gestión de incidencias carecía de orden. Es por ello que, para establecer la nueva estructura organizacional basada en ITIL y con el desarrollo realizado, se logró mejorar el tiempo de respuesta en la atención de incidencias por parte de mesa de servicios. Para el desarrollo e implementación de los desarrollos realizados, se utilizó la metodología de desarrollo Programación Extrema (XP) la cual se considera una metodología ágil de desarrollo con la cual se entregan productos funcionales en periodos cortos de tiempo. En base al trabajo de investigación realizado se concluyó con que la implementación realizada le permitió a la institución financiera mejorar la atención tipo tecnológica a usuarios.
