Resumen:
Este trabajo muestra el desarrollo de un módulo de Becas y Ayudas Económicas (MBAE) en
el Sistema Integrado de Gestión Estratégica de la Universidad Israel (SIGE), como respuesta
a la necesidad de agilizar el proceso de asignación de becas solicitadas por los estudiantes
que han aplicado a este beneficio, y a quienes gracias a su excelencia en las aulas se han
ganado el derecho a ser becados; de esta manera también la UISRAEL responde al “Principio
de igualdad de oportunidades” provisto en el Art. 71 de la Ley Orgánica de Educación
Superior LOES. El eje fundamental del desarrollo de las sociedades se cimienta en la
educación y preparación de sus integrantes, al ser una realidad que existen grupos vulnerables
que por diversos motivos no pueden acceder a la educación superior, el estado ecuatoriano
ha querido ampararlos en sus leyes para aplacar de alguna manera esta desigualdad, no
pudiendo ser de otra manera, la UISRAEL respondió a este mandato con la creación del
REGLAMENTO DE BECAS Y AYUDAS ECONÓMICAS ESTUDIANTILES, el mismo
que se encuentra en vigencia y maneja este proceso de forma manual, razón por la cual se
tiene la necesidad de automatizar dichos procesos con la implementación del mencionado
módulo, usando la metodología Extreme Programming, herramientas de desarrollo de
software como Visual Studio .NET, SQL Server; lo que brindará mayor agilidad en la
ejecución de las tareas que intervienen en este proceso. Las aplicaciones podrán ser
aprobadas rápidamente a través de la aplicación, además se podrá obtener automáticamente
el listado de los alumnos enmarcados en la excelencia académica para proceder con la
asignación de sus becas

This document explains the development of a module of Scholarships and Financial Support
