RESUMEN Debido a la carencia de un material que muestre y ponga en debate la representación de la mujer en el Ecuador, a través de un enfoque crítico feminista se pretende visibilizar a la mujer de esa época, por lo que se propone la creación de un book fotográfico de imágenes de mujeres ecuatorianas a finales del siglo XIX e inicios del siglo XX, dirigida al público en general, hombres y mujeres 15 años en adelante, así como también artistas y/o académicos, especialistas en temas de fotografía y estudios feministas, entre otros. Para la realización de este proyecto se recopilaron las fotografías del Archivo del Fondo Nacional de Fotografía del Ecuador, este material se utilizó para realizar un análisis profundo (discusión) y visibilizar de manera crítica las representaciones de la mujer ecuatoriana en la esfera pública. La metodología utilizada fue cualitativa, a través de entrevistas a expertos, quienes aportaron con su conocimiento en el campo del análisis de fotografía histórica y diseño editorial, con este aporte se realizó el análisis visual de las imágenes, donde se clasificaron por categorías las representaciones femeninas y los resultados que arrojaron esta investigación fueron importantes para la descripción de las fotografías, dando un enfoque crítico, el cual, permitió entrever las representaciones de mujeres ecuatorianas. En la elaboración propuesta del book fotográfico, se tomó en cuenta varios aspectos en cuanto al estilo y maquetación del mismo; primero, se analizó a través de una tabla de adjetivación donde se tomaron varias decisiones de forma y estética, como la cromática, tipografía, morfología y recursos visuales a utilizarse en la propuesta final; luego, se realizó una valoración de expertos que dio pie a nuevas investigaciones. .ABSTRACT Due to the lack of a material that shows and puts into debate the representation of women in Ecuador, through a critical feminist approach, it is intended to make the women of that time visible, so the creation of a photographic book is proposed of images of Ecuadorian women in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, aimed at the general public, men and women 15 years and older, as well as artists and / or academics, specialists in photography and feminist studies, among others. For the realization of this project, they collected the photographs from the National Photography Fund of Ecuador, this material was used to an in-depth analysis (discussion) and to visibilize critically the representations of Ecuadorian women in the public sphere. The methodology used was qualitative, through interviews with experts, who contributed their knowledge in the field of the analysis of historical photography and editorial design, with this contribution the visual analysis of the images, where it was classified by categories: the feminine representations and the results of this research were important for the description of the photographs, giving a critical approach, which allowed guess the representations of the Ecuadorian women. In the proposed of the photograpic book. They have taken many aspects such style and layout; first they analysed through of a table of adjectives, where they took many decisions in the form and esthetic, such chromatic, typography, morphology and visual resources to be used in the final proposal; Then, an expert evaluation was conducted that led to new investigations.
