dc.description	Currently, the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) has increased significantly in various areas of daily life that surround people, and the work environment does not escape this dynamic. The M & V Soluciones IT company requires the execution of manual activities within the personnel selection process, which is why it was proposed to develop a web application for the automation of this process, in order to promote improvements in the department. For this, a qualitative, descriptive, field research was carried out, in which observation and interviews were used as techniques to obtain the diagnosis and to specify the most pertinent aspects for the development of the web application; the same was done with the XP methodology developed with the kumbiaphp frameworks under MVC. As a result, the web application was developed where the necessary tests were applied to guarantee its correct functioning, being acceptable the functionalities of the system in its entirety, arriving at the conclusion that with the use of the design and programming tools implemented the web application is obtained expected for the personnel selection process. dc.description.abstract	En la actualidad el uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC) se ha incrementado significativamente en diversos ámbitos de la cotidianidad que envuelve a las personas, y el entorno laboral no escapa de esta dinámica. En la empresa M&V Soluciones IT se precisa la ejecución de actividades manuales dentro del proceso de selección de personal, razón por la cual se planteó como objetivo desarrollar una aplicación web para la automatización de este proceso, con el fin de propiciar mejoras en el departamento. Para ello, se realizó una investigación cualitativa de tipo descriptiva, de campo, en la que se utilizaron como técnicas la observación y entrevistas para obtener el diagnóstico y precisar lo más pertinente para el desarrollo de la aplicación web; el mismo se realizó con bajo la metodología XP desarrollada con el frameworks kumbiaphp bajo MVC. Como resultado se desarrolló la aplicación web donde se aplicaron las pruebas necesarias para garantizar su correcto funcionamiento, siendo aceptables las funcionalidades del sistema en su totalidad, llegando a la conclusión que con el uso de las herramientas de diseño y programación implementadas se obtiene la aplicación web esperada para el proceso de selección de personal.
