Resumen:
La fotografía puede ser algo confusa para quienes recién empiezan en este campo. La
creatividad y la imaginación para llegar a construir una imagen que sea atractiva para el
ojo humano es complementada no solamente por los objetos que son parte activa de la
composición, sino también por el correcto uso del fondo – forma, la esencial armonía del
uso de los colores, y de las combinaciones cromáticas que causan impacto visual a los
espectadores.
Este book fotográfico e infográfico tiene la finalidad de ayudar a fotógrafos principiantes a
familiarizarse con las consideraciones más esenciales en la combinación de los colores
complementarios, brindándoles un recurso funcional que mejora el conocimiento del lector
a través de conceptos visuales fáciles de aplicar en un diseño dinámico e intuitivo.
Se ha logrado sintetizar de manera eficaz la teoría del uso de colores complementarios y se
los ha reflejado a través de fotografías de retrato. Esto brinda al fotógrafo principiante una
clara muestra del impacto que pueda llegar a generar en sus propias composiciones. Una
vez que se dominen estos conceptos básicos, utilizando como punto referencial el círculo
cromático, también podrán ser aplicados en diferentes ramas de la fotografía.

Photography can be confusing for those who are taking their first steps in this discipline.
Creativity and imagination to build an attractive image for the human eye is complemented
by objects that form and active part of the composition but also by the proper use of shapebackground,
the essential harmony of color use, and chromatic combinations that produce
visual impact to the spectator.
This photographic and infographic book has the purpose to help amateur photographers to
familiarize with the basics of combining complementary colors, providing a functional
resource to improve the reader’s knowledge through visual concepts that are easy to apply
in a dynamic and intuitive design.
The theory of complementary color use has been successfully synthetized and displayed
through portrait pictures. This offers the amateur photographer a perfect example of how to
achieve great impact in their own compositions. Once these elementary concepts are
mastered, using the chromatic circle as a reference point, they can also be applied in
different photography branches.
