Resumen:
El presente proyecto muestra la implementación de un control de nivel, mediante una Interfaz
Humano – Máquina. El desarrollo cuenta con varios elementos, como son: Un computador, una
interfaz gráfica, comunicación industrial y un prototipo que simula una planta de tratamiento de
agua.
Se parte con la necesidad de la automatización de un proceso de lavado de filtros, pero para
que este proceso se realice, necesita de sensores de nivel, que me indiquen las acciones que de
deben tomar dependiendo de la necesidad.
El proceso consiste en el ingreso y salida de agua del filtro al cual se le va a realizar el lavado.
El nivel para realizar esta acción debe estar a una altura determinada, por lo que los sensores de
nivel cumplen esa función.
Con la ayuda de la HMI, las acciones se las realiza de manera manual y automática, así si se
desea realizar un lavado manual, se deben activar la apertura o cierre de la válvula respectiva.
En el caso del control automático, únicamente se selecciona la opción y el proceso completo
es realizado por el sistema.

The present project shows the implementation of a level control, through a Human - Machine
Interface. The development has several elements, such as: A computer, a graphical interface,
industrial communication and a prototype that simulates a water treatment plant.
It starts with the need for the automation of a filter washing process, but for this process to be
carried out, it needs level sensors, which indicate the actions that should be taken depending on
the need.
The process consists in the entry and exit of water from the filter to which the washing will be
carried out. The level to perform this action must be at a certain height, so that the level sensors
fulfill that function.
With the help of the HMI, the actions are performed manually and automatically, so if you
want to perform a manual wash, you must activate the opening or closing of the respective valve.
In the case of automatic control, only the option is selected and the entire process is
performed by the system.
