dc.description	ABSTRACT The research consists of the development of a system that uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, with the aim of providing an adequate solution to the vulnerabilities of control, identification and management for make loans or returns of texts efficiently, also avoiding possible losses or theft of books. For this reason, a modern system was developed which uses RFID tags for the identification and tracking of texts to improve loan, return and security processes of library material, which is composed of portable and fixed reading devices such as RFID antennas in UHF frequency. , the system is complemented with software to monitor the registry and control of book inventory through a desktop computer This project corresponds to the final thesis for obtaining the title of Engineer in Digital Electronics and Telecommunications at the Israel Technological University. dc.description.abstract	La investigación consiste en el desarrollo de un sistema que utiliza tecnología de identificación por radio frecuencia, por sus siglas en ingles “Radio Frecuency Identification” (RFID), con el objetivo de brindar una solución adecuada ante las vulnerabilidades de control, identificación y gestión para realizar préstamos o devoluciones de textos de manera eficiente, evitando también posibles pérdidas o hurto de libros. Por esa razón se desarrolló un sistema moderno el cual utiliza etiquetas RFID para la identificación y seguimiento de textos para mejorar procesos de préstamo, devolución y seguridad de material bibliotecario, el cual está compuesto por dispositivos de lectura portátiles y fijos como antenas RFID en frecuencia UHF, el sistema se complementa con un software para monitorear el registro y control de inventario de libros mediante un computador de escritorio Este proyecto corresponde al trabajo de fin de carrera para la obtención del título de Ingeniero en Electrónica Digital y Telecomunicaciones de la Universidad Tecnológica Israel.
