dc.description	The historocal Quito's Downtown , is located in the central-south part of Quito city, in Ecuador, recently an interesting topic arises, which is being empowered even in cities worldwide, known as the Dark Tourism, and its concept is relatively growing, being as a main factor, The Historical Cultural heritage that owns the colonial helmet, a fundamental element in its integration to make this new kind of tourism, for this reason, the Historical Quito's Downtown like public and patrimonial project in its excellence as for its conservation and restoration, focuses as a key engine the touristic potential it owns, in the future it will be possible to develop platforms for the touristic development in actions for the innovation in contrast to this new touristic practice. This new cultural demonstration will allow to reinforce the Hystorical Quito's Downtown patrimonial resources focused as a touristic alternative evidencing the economical and touristic progress in order to contribute significantly to this kind of tourism. dc.description.abstract	Centro Histórico de Quito, está ubicado en el centro sur de la ciudad de Quito, en Ecuador, recientemente surge un tema bastante interesante, que se está empoderando inclusive en ciudades a nivel mundial, conocido como el Dark Tourism-Turismo Oscuro, y su concepto es relativamente creciente, siendo como un factor principal, el patrimonio Histórico Cultural. Que posee el casco colonial, elemento fundamental en su integración para realizar este nuevo tipo de turismo, por esta razón, el Centro Histórico de Quito como proyecto público y patrimonial en su excelencia en cuanto a su conservación y restauración, enfoca como un motor clave el potencial turístico que posee, que en un futuro se podrá ir desarrollando plataformas para el desarrollo turístico en acciones a la innovación frente a esta nueva práctica del turismo. Esta nueva manifestación cultural permitirá potencializar los recursos patrimoniales del Centro Histórico de Quito enfocado como una alternativa turística evidenciando el progreso económico y turístico con el fin de aportar significativamente a esta tipología de turismo.
