RESUMEN
Mejorar el proceso de entrega de equipos de protección personal en la empresa
EDEMI, ubicada en la ciudad de Sangolqui, es el objetivo principal de esta investigación,
la misma que al iniciar este estudio cuenta con una cantidad de 1018 colaboradores entre
personal operativo y personal administrativo.
Al realizar esta investigación se puede identificar que el funcionamiento del proceso de
ntrega de estos equipos tiene falencias y por eso se realizó una revisión y análisis de todas
las actividades que están ligadas a este proceso, cabe recalcar que existen algunas áreas
involucradas como son Producción, T.T.H.H, Bodega y Seguridad Industrial.
Capítulo I: Trae acotación investigaciones similares ya realizadas, las cuales sirven
omo aporte y referencia para el planteamiento de mejores propuestas al final de esta
investigación. También se fundamenta las bases teóricas, parte principal para la definición
de conceptos y sustento en el cual se irá desarrollando.
Capítulo II: Se detalla el Marco metodológico de la investigación, es decir, la
naturaleza del proyecto de investigación, estrategias metodológicas, las técnicas e
instrumento de recolección de datos, población y muestra.
Capítulo III: Sin restar importancia a los demás capítulos, en este se encuentra la parte
más importante ya que se detalla la situación actual versus la propuesta planteada para la
mejora del proceso como son la elaboración de instructivos que aportaran en la mejorar de
ste proceso
Al terminar esta investigación se puede concluir que a lo largo de todo el proceso
xisten algunas falencias y al ser identificadas se puede mejorar no solo el proceso de
ntrega de EPP, sino también se reduce los costos mediante la optimización del tiempo de
vida útil de estos equipos y se genera una cultura del correcto uso de los equipos de
protección personal.

Improving the process of delivering personal protective equipment in the company
SEDEMI, located in the city of Sangolqui, is the main objective of this research, the same
that at the beginning of this study has an amount of 1018 employees among staff
operational and administrative staff.
By conducting this research it can be identified that the operation of the delivery
process of these equipment has shortcomings and therefore a review and analysis was
carried out of all the activities that are linked to this process, it should be emphasized that
there are some areas involved as are Production, T.T.H.H, Bodega and Industrial Safety
being the latter the most main.
Chapter I: It brings a dimension of similar research already carried out, which serve as
a contribution and reference for the approach of better proposals at the end of this research.
It also bases the theoretical basis, the main part for the definition of concepts and
livelihood in which it will be developed.
Chapter II: The Methodological Framework for Research is detailed, i.e. the nature of
the research project, methodological strategies, data collection techniques and instrument,
population and sample.
Chapter III: Without downplaying the importance of the other chapters, this is the
most important part since it details the current situation versus the proposal proposed for
the improvement of the process such as the elaboration of instructions that will contribute
in the improvement of this Process
At the end of this research it can be concluded that throughout the process there are
some shortcomings and being identified can improve not only the PROCESS of delivery of
PPE, but also reduces costs by optimizing the lifetime of these a culture of the correct use
of personal protective equipment is generated.
