dc.description	The purpose of this project is the development of an interactive telecare application for older adults, through the GINGA NCL middleware. Nowadays it is very necessary that people become aware of their eating habits and understand that not everything that is ingested is good for health, especially when at a certain age you have diseases such as diabetes, hypertension or arthritis (Foundation National Office, 2016), another reason that led to an interactive application in this area is the difficulty of having constant assistance to a routine medical check-up. It is important to clarify that this application does not supplant medical appointments, it simply helps the patient with certain diseases to have more information about them. The advantages of digital television and one of its innovations, such as interactive applications, are used immensely. In this particular case, GINGA - NCL and LUA were used for the return channel as programming languages, all patient data using the application will be stored in a text-type database, which may be useful for the medical or insurance center that has the telecare service.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Este proyecto tiene por objeto el desarrollo de una aplicación interactiva de teleasistencia para adultos mayores, a través del middleware GINGA NCL. En la actualidad es sumamente necesario que las personas tomen conciencia de sus hábitos alimenticios y entender de que no todo lo que se ingiere es bueno para la salud, en especial cuando a cierta edad se tiene enfermedades como la diabetes, osteoporosis o hipertensión (Foundation National Office, 2016), otra de las razones que motivó a realizar una aplicación interactiva en esta área es la dificultad de tener asistencia constante a un chequeo médico de rutina. Es importante aclarar que esta aplicación no suplanta las citas médicas, simplemente contribuye a que el paciente con ciertas enfermedades pueda tener más información acerca de ellas. Se aprovecha inmensamente las bondades de la televisión digital y una de sus innovaciones como son las aplicaciones interactivas, en este caso en particular se empleó GINGA – NCL y LUA para el canal de retorno como lenguajes de programación, todos los datos del paciente que utilicen la aplicación serán almacenados en una base de datos de tipo texto, misma que puede ser útil para el centro médico o de seguros que disponga del servicio de teleasistencia.	es_ES
