dc.description	The Pharmaceutical of the Grunenthal Group Ecuador Tecnandina plant, developed the automation plan for the packing line specifically in the Marchessini # 1 machine, to reduce machine downtimes, waste of materials, increase the reliability of the production line and Standardize the production speed. The automation was carried out with a Vipa brand PLC and a touch screen that interacts directly with the operators, in order to perform format calibrations depending on the product presentation. With the Automation it was possible to reduce the waste of material, increase the reliability of the machine, return to its initial operating condition, reduce 75% of machine damage, reducing the cost of the product and generating more profits for the company. dc.description.abstract	La Farmacéutica del Grupo Grunenthal Ecuador planta de Tecnandina, elaboro el plan de automatización de la línea de empaque específicamente en la máquina Marchessini # 1, para reducir los tiempos de paradas de máquinas, el desperdicio de materiales, aumentar la confiabilidad de la línea productiva y estandarizar la velocidad de producción. La automatización se la realizo con un PLC marca Vipa y una pantalla touch que interactuara directamente con los operadores, para poder realizar calibraciones de formatos dependiendo de la presentación del producto. Con la Automatización se logró reducir el desperdicio de material, aumentar la confiabilidad de la máquina, regresar a su condición inicial de operación, reducir en un 75% de daños de máquina, reduciendo el costo del producto y generando más ganancias para la empresa.
