dc.description	ABSTRACT One of the advantages of applying the agile SCRUM methodology within the software development process is that it is based on a set of good practices, which facilitate teamwork, increasing the productivity of the staff that develops software, and obtaining the best possible result in the execution of the entire life cycle of a project. The objective of this paper is to implement the SCRUM methodology in the Software Development Section of the National Communications Office of the National Police, since they do not use any methodology for software development. dc.description.abstract	Una de las ventajas de aplicar la metodología ágil SCRUM dentro del proceso de desarrollo de software, es que está basado en un conjunto de buenas prácticas, las mismas que facilitan el trabajo en equipo, aumentando la productividad del personal que se dedica a desarrollar software, y obteniendo el mejor resultado posible en la ejecución de todo el ciclo de vida de un proyecto. El objetivo del presente trabajo, es implementar la metodología SCRUM, en la Sección de Desarrollo de Software, de la Dirección Nacional de Comunicaciones de la Policía Nacional, ya que no utilizan metodología alguna para el desarrollo de software.
