dc.description	This thesis focused on designing a user manual from pointillism techniques, for students at the first level of graphic design careers in the city of Quito, in order to motivate and improve the teaching of this technique, through interviews he was able to realize that pointillism is a technique with little depth and that in the career of graphic design there are few studies. Practical exercises were carried out for the realization of this manual, the first is volume, this includes light and shadow in a sphere, the second is to cultivate patience because students commented that what complicates them most of the teaching of the tip is that it requires patience, the third is to understand the contrast that black and white have, the fourth is about the contrast that the bright colors have with the black, the fifth is to perceive how the primary colors (yellow, blue and red) create a fusion creating green, violet and orange and the sixth is to create a range of colors to establish a chromatic variety. dc.description.abstract	Esta tesis se enfocó en diseñar un manual de uso a partir de las técnicas de puntillismo, para estudiantes de primeros niveles de las carreras de diseño gráfico de la ciudad de Quito, con la finalidad de motivar y mejorar la enseñanza de esta técnica, por medio de entrevistas se pudo concretar que el puntillismo es una técnica con escasa profundización y que en la carrera de diseño gráfico hay pocos estudios. Se ejecutó ejercicios prácticos para la realización de este manual, el primero es el de volumen, este comprende la luz y la sombra en una esfera, el segundo es de cultivar la paciencia debido a que los estudiantes comentaron que lo que más les complica de la enseñanza del puntillismo es que requiere paciencia, el tercero es comprender el contraste que tiene el negro y el blanco, el cuarto es sobre el contraste que tienen los colores luminosos con el negro, el quinto es percibir como los colores primarios (amarillo, azul y rojo) crean una fusión visual creando el verde, violeta y naranja y el sexto es crear una gama de colores para establecer una variedad cromática.
