Resumen:
El siguiente trabajo de titulación se enfoca en la investigación descriptiva para la
divulgación del arte urbano ubicado en el sector La Floresta, de la ciudad de Quito. La
problemática del proyecto está determinada por el desconocimiento de valorar el arte
urbano, es el principal problema, debido a que la interpretación de las personas lo ve como
vandalismo y por esta razón es rechazado. La implementación de nuevas leyes, las cuales
penalizan rigurosamente estos actos, ha causado cierto rechazo en los artistas urbanos.
Gracias a la generalización de nuevas campañas o festivales que apoyen la escena urbana
de Quito, se puede lograr convocar artistas nacionales e internacionales a dar color a más
barrios de la ciudad de Quito para ayudar a relacionar a la sociedad con los artistas,
mientras la gente se involucre y apoye tanto con su fachada como en la composición que
se vaya a plasmar, lo cual genera una interrelación y ayudan a dar vida al barrio, es por
eso que la siguiente investigación quiere dar a conocer el arte urbano que está presente en
las calles del sector de La Floresta, acorde a lo expuesto se realizó un book fotográfico el
cual cuenta con 28 fotografías de los murales ubicados en el sector de La Floresta cada
mural incluye un código de QR para una ubicación exacta, también tiene un mapa del
barrio La Floresta para que pueda realizar su ruta visitando los murales que más le guste.
Como conclusión se pudo determinar que si se apoya a los artistas con espacios tanto
públicos como privados la ciudad puede convertirse en un escenario colorido de obras
que adornen los barrios de la ciudad de Quito.

This document degree is focus in a descriptive investigation of the art diffusion in the
Floresta neighborhood in Quito city. The unknowledge of appreciate the urban art is the
principal problem because the culture of the people look it like vandalism and for this
reason it is rejected. Actually in Quito exist a lot of laws that penalize the people that do
this type of art and this is de main reason why artist do it clandestinely.
Thanks to the generalization of new campaigns or festivals that support the urban scene
of Quito, national and international artists were invited to give color to neighborhoods of
the city to help relate society with the artist supporting and involving with the walls and
the composition that the artist want to paint. All this initiative helps to give color and live
to the neighborhood. This is the reason why this document wants to make known the
urban art that is present in a lot of walls of La Floresta. Therefore, a photographic book it
has 28 photographs of the murals located was made and it has a map to sectorize the
neighborhood and locate each mural, and then make to know to the national and foreign
public, who can recognize each mural, with the QR code that has each mural, the Same
that will take you to the exact location. In conclusion, it was determined that if artists are
supported with public and private spaces, the city will become a colorful scene of urban
art that complement and give live to the neighborhoods of Quito city.
