dc.description	Abstract In Quito, the art of Mimo has been developed for many years, it has a connotation in people different from the academic, since many of us are unaware of the artistic richness that this character has, that is why we have determined to conduct research about of this art and its beginnings. For this reason it was determined to have a photographic record, which together with the research has an impact on the public and we can learn more about this art, from a broader visual perspective, that allows us to disseminate and promote this artistic representation, this being a contribution important for the population, especially that of Quito. dc.description.abstract	En Quito se ha desarrollado el arte del Mimo durante muchos años, el mismo tiene una connotación en la gente diferente a la académica, ya que muchos desconocemos de la riqueza artística que tiene este personaje, es por ello que se ha determinado realizar una investigación acerca de este arte y sus inicios. Por tal motivo se determino tener un registro fotográfico, que acompañado de la investigación tenga un impacto en el público y podamos conocer mas sobre este arte, desde una perspectiva visual más amplia, que nos permita difundir y promover esta representación artística, siendo esto un aporte importante para la población, en especial la de Quito.
