dc.description	Abstract Ecuador, considered as the country of the world of four worlds ’, houses a list of impressive and unique tourist criteria, which attracts thousands of foreigners every year, and in the same way greatly promotes domestic tourism. The objective of the work is: To prepare a “Community Tourism Development Plan for“San José de Caleras”that allows sustainable development and the rescue of their ancestral roots, helps the community to have a better lifestyle. Tourism in the community is stagnant due to the lack of interest of the local government, the lack of knowledge at the time of undertaking by the residents, no previous research has been carried out for this type of projects, so there was a long research work, using various methodological tools such as surveys, interviews, as well as field observation, which helped gather enough information to develop this project. When developing Chapter III, where the proposal stands out, several strategies can be evidenced that help to develop the project, the strategies are focused on the most important aspects such as: customer service, tourism promotion, environmental conservation which I know that The community is better organized and can be recognized as a unique community tourism destination in the sector. dc.description.abstract	Ecuador, considerado como el país de los ‘cuatro mundos’, alberga una lista de atractivos turísticos impresionantes y únicos, que atrae cada año a miles de extranjeros, y de la misma manera promueve enormemente el turismo interno. El objetivo del trabajo es: Elaborar un “Plan de Desarrollo Turístico Comunitario para “San José de Caleras” que permita el desarrollo sostenible y el rescate de sus raíces ancestrales, este ayudará a que la comunidad pueda tener un mejor estilo de vida. El turismo en la comunidad se encuentra estancado por la falta de interés del gobierno local, la falta de conocimiento al momento de emprender por parte de los pobladores, no se han realizado investigaciones previas para este tipo de proyectos, por lo cual se realizó un largo trabajo de investigación, utilizando varias herramientas metodológicas como encuestas, entrevistas, así como la observación de campo, la cual ayudó a reunir la información suficiente para desarrollar el presente proyecto. Al desarrollar el capítulo III, en donde se destaca la propuesta, se pueden evidenciar varias estrategias que ayudarán a desarrollar el proyecto, las estrategias van enfocadas a los aspectos más importantes como son: servicio al cliente, promoción turística, conservación ambiental lo cual ayudará a que la comunidad este mejor organizada y pueda ser reconocida como un destino de turismo comunitario único en el sector.
