dc.description	ABSTRACT Augmented Reality is a technology that complements the perception and interaction with the real world, increasing additional information generated by computer. This technology is invading new areas of application being in education, the most accepted by users as it offers benefits by helping to understand and improve knowledge. Its use can be applied from the first levels of education but it is much more adaptable for higher education. This document presents a mobile application of augmented reality developed in Unity Vuforia, applied to the subject of Electromagnetic Theory to help understand concepts that are theoretical and that cause problems in learning. Supported with this technological help, students will have one more tool to develop in their higher education. The development of this technology envisages great contributions in different fields, although knowledge and applicability in education is almost minimal, making a disclosure of it will contribute to its extension in teaching. Through the use of this application, students were able to have one more study tool, which helps them to understand it and visualize the phenomenon in a more interactive way. The development of this application is open to possible updates or improvements, including other topics or subjects. dc.description.abstract	La Realidad Aumentada es una tecnología que complementa la percepción y la interacción con el mundo real agregando información adicional generada por computador. Esta tecnología está invadiendo nuevas áreas de aplicación siendo la educación, una de las más aceptadas por los usuarios, ya que ofrece beneficios al ayudar a comprender y mejorar el conocimiento. Su uso puede aplicarse desde los primeros niveles de educación, pero es mucho más adaptable para la educación superior. En este documento se presenta una aplicación móvil de realidad aumentada desarrollada en Unity Vuforia, aplicada a la materia de Teoría Electromagnética para ayudar a comprender conceptos que son teóricos y que ocasionan problemas en el aprendizaje. Apoyados con esta ayuda tecnológica los estudiantes tendrán una herramienta más para desenvolverse en sus estudios superiores. El desarrollo de esta tecnología vislumbra grandes aportes en diferentes campos, aunque el conocimiento y la aplicabilidad en la educación es casi mínima, realizar una divulgación de la misma contribuirá a su extensión en la docencia. Por medio del uso de la aplicación se consiguió que los estudiantes tengan una herramienta más de estudio, que les ayude a la compresión de la misma y sobre todo visualicen los fenómenos de forma más interactiva. El desarrollo de esta aplicación queda abierta a posibles actualizaciones o mejoras pudiendo incluir otros temas o materias.
