Resumen:
Para abordar el tema de desarrollo del presente trabajo se debe dar un realce a la historia del
transporte a nivel mundial, hay que tomar en cuenta que el transporte es tan antiguo como el hombre
desde que habitó la tierra, así se asegura en el estudio realizado por (Islas Rivera & Zaragosa, 2007)
sobre el análisis de los sistemas de transportes, pues se pasó de usar balsas rudimentarias a lo que
usamos actualmente transporte aéreo, marítimo, terrestre y espacial.
Como se menciona en el documento de (Islas Rivera & Zaragosa, 2007) capítulo 1, con el desarrollo
vinieron los asentamientos de las primeras civilizaciones con ello las innovaciones y el
aprovechamiento de recursos naturales, es decir mares, vientos, ríos, etc. para desarrollar balsas,
canoas, máquina de vapor etc.
Hablar del transporte a nivel internacional es mencionar también la innovación tecnológica, para
poder satisfacer las demandas constantes de movilización, como es el ejemplo de Brasil, exactamente
en el en sur de este país se encuentra ubicada la ciudad de Curitiba, la cual fue pionera en poner a
rodar buses Biarticuladas para líneas expresas, con una capacidad de 270 pasajeros, dando como inicio
al uso de los biarticulados en el mundo.
En la etapa moderna se desarrolló grandes avances con el surgimiento del automóvil, provisto de
un motor, pues aparecieron los autobuses de carga y pasajeros, siendo el transporte de pasajeros una
de las industrias más grandes. Los impactos del transporte dentro de las actividades humanas hacen
que se considere este trabajo, para poder analizar la flota de pasajeros del distrito metropolitano de
Quito.

To address the theme of development of the present work, a highlight should be given to the history of the
transport worldwide, we must take into account that transport is as old as man
since he inhabited the earth, this is confirmed in the study carried out by (Islas Rivera & Zaragosa, 2007)
on the analysis of transport systems, since it went from using rudimentary rafts to what
we currently use air, sea, land and space transportation.

Talking about transport at an international level is also mentioning technological innovation, to
to be able to satisfy the constant demands of mobilization, as is the example of Brazil, exactly
