dc.description	One of the vital functions of any university is to deal with introducing changes that promote a quality, equitable and socially relevant education that manages to narrow the social gap that affects to Latin American society. Therefore, they are institutions at the service of the nation in which they are established, and it is up to them to contribute to the orientation of the most appropriate national policies to guide in the clarification and solution of national problems. In that mission they are concerned with carrying out a leading role in education, science and culture. Thus, its activities must allow the formation of the student within an environment that transforms his personality so that he assumes his role as defender and promoter of the highest interests of his country, through fruitful study and research. In this last aspect, it will focus on promoting, creating, coordinating and disseminate knowledge in a rigorously scientific manner, especially in the pressing health problems that entails the pandemic that is experienced worldwide. In this sense, the Technological University of Israel (Ecuador), together with the Agustiniana University (Colombia), César Vallejo University (Peru), the Catholic University of Maule (Chile) and the University of Nariño (Colombia), is pleased to share with the entire academic community the book "Education, actuality and Perspectives in Latin American countries", a text that compiles the scientific results of teachers and researchers who participated in the Call for Books from Latin America chapters. In the first part, three investigative works are presented that focus on Chapter 1: ICT in the education: current situation and prospects. This shows a study on digital skills in university pre-professional practice. At the same time, there is talk about the student prevention of software in smartphones, and an article related to the impact of gamification in Higher Education institutions is also presented.Within the second part, entitled: "Teacher competencies and educational quality", readers will be able to find eight scientific articles created in the same way, with high academic, methodological and scientific rigor. This section discusses teaching practice from different case studies, applied in countries such as Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia and Chile. And finally, the third chapter includes six works that are focused on "The education of thought from a psychosocial perspective in modern times." In this final part we talk about the challenges to reinvent the school, as a consequence of the pandemic, motivation theories, promotion strategies health, problem solving through the game, and more. This investigative book is aimed at teachers, researchers, professionals and students who are interested in updating, innovation and monitoring of the scientific research processes of the area of education, so we make it available for your consultation.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Una de las funciones vitales de toda universidad es la de ocuparse en introducir cambios que impulsen una educación de calidad, equidad y con pertinencia social que logre estrechar la brecha social que afecta a la sociedad latinoamericana. Por tanto, son instituciones al servicio de la nación en la cual están establecidas, y les corresponde contribuir en la orientación de las políticas nacionales más acertadas para guiar en el esclarecimiento y solución de los problemas nacionales. En esa misión les concierne realizar una función rectora en la educación, la ciencia y la cultura. Por ende, sus actividades deben permitir la formación del estudiante dentro de un ambiente transformador de su personalidad para que asuma su rol de defensor y promotor de los más elevados intereses de su patria, a través del estudio fecundo y la investigación. En este último aspecto se enfocará a promover, crear, coordinar y difundir el saber de manera rigurosamente científica, sobre todo en los acuciantes problemas de salud que comporta la pandemia que se vive a nivel mundial. En este sentido, la Universidad Tecnológica de Israel (Ecuador), junto a la Universidad Agustiniana (Colombia), Universidad César Vallejo (Perú), Universidad Católica del Maule (Chile) y la Universidad de Nariño (Colombia), se complace en compartir con toda la comunidad académica el libro “Educación, actualidad y perspectivas en países de América Latina”, texto que recopila los resultados científicos de docentes e investigadores que participaron en la Convocatoria de capítulos de Libros de América Latina. En la primera parte se presentan tres trabajos investigativos que se centran en el Capítulo 1: Las TIC en la educación: situación actual y perspectivas. En este se evidencia un estudio sobre las competencias digitales en la práctica pre-profesional universitaria. A su vez se habla sobre la prevención estudiantil del software en smartphones, y también se presenta un artículo relacionado con el impacto de la gamificación en instituciones de Educación Superior. Dentro de la segunda parte, intitulada: “Competencias del docente y calidad educativa”, los lectores podrán encontrar ocho artículos científicos creados de igual manera, con alta rigurosidad académica, metodológica y científica. En este apartado se habla sobre la práctica docente desde diferentes casos de estudios, aplicados en países como Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia y Chile. Y finalmente, el tercer capítulo engloba seis trabajos que están concentrados en “La educación del pensamiento desde una perspectiva psicosocial en tiempos modernos”. En esta parte final se habla sobre los retos de reinventar la escuela, por consecuencia de la pandemia, teorías de motivación, estrategias de promoción de salud, resolución de problemas por medio del juego, y más. Este libro investigativo está dirigido a docentes, investigadores, profesionales y estudiantes que estén interesados en la actualización, innovación y el seguimiento de los procesos de investigación científica del área de la educación, por lo que dejamos a disposición para su consulta.
