Resumen:

Durante el año 2020 ante una pandemia mundial causada por el covid-19, los índices de desempleo aumentaron en el país debido a que la mayoría de las empresas disminuyeron en sus ventas, otras en cambio cerraron sus operaciones, lo que se produjo inestabilidad laboral y que muchas personas pierdan sus empleos y se dediquen a emprendimientos personales, aumentando el trabajo informal. La inseguridad en las ciudades de las provincias más pobladas del país ha ido en aumento, como lo es la ciudad de Quito, debido al incremento de robos a domicilios y asaltos a locales comerciales donde todos los bienes de índole público y privado se han visto afectados por la delincuencia, es por este motivo que las personas que han sufrido robos se ven en la necesidad de invertir en equipos de seguridad para sus viviendas o negocios y de esta manera proteger sus bienes materiales. Tomando en consideración los datos estadísticos de la fiscalía General del Estado entre enero a noviembre de 2020 el número de robos a domicilios fue de 6.643 y entre enero a noviembre del 2021 el número de robos fue de 7.449 existiendo un incremento del 12.1.% de igual manera el número de robos a unidades económicas entre enero a noviembre del 2020 fue de 3.686 y entre enero a noviembre del 2021 fue de 4.264 existiendo un incremento de 15.7%, la provincias con los más altos índices de robos son las de Pichincha y Guayas (Estado, 2021) Pensado en los altos índices de inseguridad por la que atraviesa la ciudad de Quito, se desarrollará un plan de negocios que abarque los fundamentos teóricos, aplicando las herramientas de investigación además de realizar un análisis económico y financiero que permitirá creación de una empresa encargada de la comercialización de productos tecnológicos de seguridad, que operare de forma legal y licita cumpliendo con todas las normativas vigentes del país.
