Resumen:
La realidad aumentada es una tecnología que tiene su origen hace varios años, “A principios de los
90 se comienza a barajar un nuevo concepto que consiste en enriquecer la realidad con elementos
virtuales e información mostrándola simultáneamente a través de las gafas o los dispositivos
empleados.” sin embargo, es en la actualidad cuando se ve las ventajas y el aporte que puede dar a
industria, pero, ¿qué es la realidad aumentada?, en una definición simplificada, podríamos decir que
es superponer información, ya sea de forma gráfica, objetos 3D o textos sobre un entorno real en
tercera dimensión, pudiendo interactuar con la fusión de lo tangible y la digital en tiempo real, y son
justamente estas particularidades las que aprovecharemos para el desarrollo de nuestra investigación
(Martínez y Navarro, 2019).
La industria dispone obligatoriamente de maquinaria, equipos e infraestructura para poder realizar
su proceso productivo, y es obligatorio que esta maquinaria requiere mantener una fiabilidad óptima;
Gómez (2008, p. 21) define el mantenimiento de la siguiente manera, “...el mantenimiento es
mantener el correcto estado funcional de los equipos e instalaciones...” derivando dos tipos de
mantenimiento como mínimos, Preventivo y correctivo, de aquí, realizamos una breve definición, de
