| dc.description | The Educational Institution “Cardenal Carlos María de la Torre” is a Fiscal training entity intended for the educational process of children and young people of the place and its surroundings; it's found located in the rural parish of El Quinche located in the Northeast of the Metropolitan District of Quito; its offer is very wide from the first years of Initial until concluding with the Third High School; It is made up of 2,300 students and 102 teachers, divided into 3 sessions Morning, Evening and Night. The Educational Unit that began operating in 1972 has been growing constantly, began with a reduced number of courses until currently reaching settle for 72; It also has Physics, Chemistry and Computer laboratories. that today are not used correctly due to the lack of specific personnel that are take care of them, causing students not to be able to use them as they should and when they need it. The administrative management is carried out by the campus authorities, made up of the Rector, Morning and Evening Academic Vice-Chancellors, Inspector General, Secretary (E) and Department of the DECE, who work together with the legal representatives giving follow-up and accompaniment to the academic difficulties that occur on campus, thus achieving a collective work with the entire educational community. The teachers of the educational institution work the 6 pedagogical hours giving their classes, in periods of 40 minutes depending on the schedule assigned to them; the ERCA methodology is used in the academic development with the student body; these classes the carried out in classrooms that unfortunately are not equipped with the minimum requirements for the use of very important technological implements in the construction of teaching learning; reason why the discomfort is palpable in some teachers who want to work with the help of ICT tools. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La Institución Educativa “Cardenal Carlos María de la Torre” es una entidad formativa Fiscal destinada al proceso educativo de niños y jóvenes del lugar y de sus alrededores; se encuentra situada en la Parroquia rural de El Quinche radicada al Nororiente del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito; su oferta es muy amplia desde los primero años de Inicial hasta concluir con el Tercero de Bachillerato; la conforman 2300 estudiantes y 102 docentes, divididos en 3 jornadas Matutina, Vespertina y Nocturna. La Unidad Educativa que empezó a funcionar en el año de 1972 ha ido creciendo constantemente, inició con un número reducido de cursos hasta llegar actualmente a conformarse de 72; además cuenta con laboratorios de Física, Química e Informática los mismos que hoy por hoy no son usados correctamente debido a la falta de personal específico que se encargue de los mismos, provocando que los estudiantes no los puedan utilizar como se debe y en el momento que lo necesitan. La gestión administrativa la realizan las autoridades del plantel, conformadas por la Rectora, Vicerrectores Académicos Matutino y Vespertino, Inspector General, Secretaria (E) y Departamento del DECE, quienes trabajan conjuntamente con los representantes legales dando seguimiento y acompañamiento a las dificultades académicas que ocurren en el plantel, logrando así un trabajo colectivo con toda la comunidad educativa. Los docentes de la institución educativa trabajan las 6 horas pedagógicas impartiendo sus clases, en períodos de 40 minutos dependiendo del horario que se les haya asignado; la metodología ERCA es empleada en el desarrollo académico con el estudiantado; estas clases las realizan en aulas que lamentablemente no están equipadas con los requerimientos mínimos para el uso de implementos tecnológicos muy importantes en la construcción de la enseñanza aprendizaje; razón por la cual es palpable el malestar en algunos docentes que desean trabajar con ayuda de las herramientas TIC. | es_ES |
