| Resumen : | Este proyecto tiene como fin el desarrollo de una aplicación interactiva para televisión digital terrestre con el estándar ISDB-Tb en el área de turismo, misma que permitirá al televidente no ser simplemente un visor, sino que podrá obtener mayor información turística de la ciudad de Quito, desplegándose un listado de sitios que puede visitar, algunas opciones de culinaria y la ruta para llegar a dichos lugares, además se aprovechó el hecho de que la televisión es el mayor medio de difusión local a nivel nacional, por lo que esta aplicación pretende llegar de esta manera a turistas tanto nacionales como extranjeros. Se desarrolló esta aplicación con el lenguaje de programación GINGA-NCL, herramienta propia del estándar que facilitó el desarrollo de la aplicación y que permite implementar la interfaz gráfica de manera amigable, usable, intuitiva y sobre todo permite mantener el concepto de televisión, ya que no es invasiva, simplemente ocupa un área de la pantalla; es importante aclarar que el entorno declarativo de GINGA, Ginga-NCL al igual que la máquina virtual que se utilizó para el implementación de la aplicación, es libre, desarrolladas por el Laboratorio TeleMedia de la Universidad Pontificia de Rio de Janeiro PUC – Rio. | Descripción : | The aim of this project is the development of an interactive application for digital terrestrial television with the ISDB-Tb standard to the tourism zone, It will allow people not to be just a viewer, the people will obtain more tourist information of Quito, It shows a list of places you can visit, some culinary options and the route to get to those places, besides the fact that television is the biggest means of diffusion at the national level, so this application aims to reach in this way both domestic and foreign tourists. It was use GINGA-NCL as a program language in order to develop interactive applications for terrestrial digital television. It allows to implement the graphical interface in a friendly, usable, and intuitive way. Furthermore, GINGA allows to conserve the television main concept because the App does not reduce the importance of the television program, so, it simply occupies one area of the entire screen; Moreover, It is important to clarify that the declarative environment of Ginga-NCL as well as the virtual machine was used for both the development and simulation of the application. TeleMedia Laboratory, developed the middleware, and all the tools used in this project in a free way to use in order to increase the use of the interactivity i n Digital Terrestrial Television.
