dc.description	Autism appears as a disorder in the neurodevelopment of the individual, which affects social, communicational, and behavioural interaction. Consequently, and considering the education system is special, it is important to create alternatives that allow to facilitate their integral development. The FINESEC Foundation is an Ecuadorian non-profit organization whose mission is to provide the necessary support to children, youth and adults suffering from this type of disorder. It has been identified in the Foundation that one of the main factors that limits the adequate learning of children with autism is the scarcity of tools and resources, since these types of materials are usually costly and difficult to access; with this exposed arguments there is the need to propose creative ideas conjugated in functional didactic materials, that help the learning of autistic children. The continuous work with these children has also shown that one of their main failures in learning is the difficulty they have to identify certain letters of the alphabet, therefore the creation and design of the teaching material will be mainly focused on the identification and learning of these lettererings. Finally the proposed teaching material will be designed and adapted to the specific needs of autistic children aged four to six years old. Among the main aspects of design, it has been considered to create an innovative graphic line, with comic characterestics highlighting mainly the use of elements such as vignettes, bubbles, cartridges and special typography, which will be combined with texts and pictograms; giving to the recipient a clear message of what it is intended to teach. The chromatic used plays an important role since the selection of colors will significantly influence the assimilation of the message. dc.description.abstract	El autismo se presenta como un trastorno en el neurodesarrollo del individuo, el cual afecta a la interacción social, comunicacional, y de conducta; dicho esto y en virtud que el sistema de enseñanza es especial, resulta importante crear alternativas que permitan facilitar su desarrollo integral. La Fundación FINESEC es una entidad ecuatoriana sin ánimo de lucro, cuya misión es proporcionar el apoyo necesario a niños, jóvenes y adultos que padecen este tipo de trastorno. Se ha identificado en la Fundación, que uno de los principales factores que limitan el aprendizaje adecuado de los niños con autismo, es la escasez de herramientas y recursos, ya que por lo general este tipo de materiales resultan ser de difícil acceso y de costos elevados; con lo expuesto existe la necesidad de proponer ideas creativas conjugadas en materiales didácticos funcionales, que ayuden al aprendizaje de los niños autistas. El trabajo continuo con estos niños también ha demostrado que una de sus principales falencias en cuanto al aprendizaje es la dificultad que poseen para identificar ciertas letras del abecedario, por tanto la creación y diseño del material didáctico estará enfocado principalmente a la identificación y aprendizaje de dichas letras. Finalmente el material didáctico propuesto estará diseñado y adaptado a las necesidades específicas de niños autistas de cuatro a seis años de edad. Entre los principales aspectos del diseño se ha considerado crear una línea gráfica innovadora tipo cómic destacando principalmente el uso de elementos como viñetas, bocadillos, cartuchos y tipografía especial, la cual se combinará con textos y pictogramas; dando así al receptor un mensaje claro de lo que se pretende enseñar. La cromática utilizada juega un papel importante ya que la selección de colores influirá notablemente en la asimilación del mensaje.
