dc.description	Mobility in the fundamental aspects of the life and development of urban conglomerates, this entails great complexities and carries a number of social, economic and environmental problems that affect the functionality and in general the coexistence of its citizens. The definitive solutions are far from being found as standard formulas of application, reason for studies and experiments all over the world. Evidencing this problem has been implemented the non-motorized transportation system of public bicycle which is one of the pillars of the administration of the current Mayor of Quito, Mauricio Rodas, that due to the excessive increase of vehicles on the roads and the limitation that exists In the road infrastructure, it is essential to look for an alternative transport that allows a fluid mobility for the citizens. The new best option is non-motorized transport, such as the bicycle, since this means of mobilization, besides being a great solution for the road, is friendly to the environment and improves the health of its users. Therefore, it is important that this alternative means of transport to the bicycle and in Quito can be done through BiciQuito, which is the Public Bicycle System which can be converted into one of the best mobilization options for Quito residents. Unfortunately, due to the bad administration of this system, this means of transport has not been potentiated, but since it is currently managed by the Metropolitan Transit Agency and with the completion of this titling work, I hope that the service can be improved for all citizens. dc.description.abstract	La movilidad es uno de los aspectos fundamentales de la vida y desarrollo de los conglomerados urbanos, esto conlleva grandes complejidades y acarrea un sinnúmero de problemas sociales, económicos y ambientales que afectan la funcionalidad y en general el convivir de sus ciudadanos. Las soluciones definitivas están lejos de ser encontradas como fórmulas estándar de aplicación, por lo que son motivo de estudios y experimentaciones en todo el mundo. Evidenciando esta problemática se ha implementado el sistema de transporte no motorizado de bicicleta pública el cual es uno de los pilares de la administración del actual Alcalde de Quito, Mauricio Rodas, ya que por el excesivo incremento de vehículos en las vías y la limitante que existe en la infraestructura vial es fundamental que se busque un transporte alternativo, que permita dar una movilidad fluida a los ciudadanos. La nueva mejor opción, es la del transporte no motorizado, como tal la bicicleta, ya que este medio de movilización a más de ser una gran solución para el tráfico vial, es amigable con el medio ambiente, y mejora la salud de sus usuarios. Por lo que, es importante que se potencie este medio de transporte alternativo como la bicicleta y en Quito se lo puede hacer a través de BiciQuito, que es el Sistema de Bicicleta Pública el cual se puede convertir en una de las mejores opciones de movilización para los quiteños. Lastimosamente por la mala administración de este sistema no se ha potencializado este medio de transporte, pero al encontrarse actualmente administrado por la Agencia Metropolitana de Tránsito y con la realización del presente trabajo de titulación espero se pueda mejorar el servicio para bien de todos los ciudadanos.
