Resumen:
El presente proyecto trata del desarrollo de un sistema electrónico de comunicación
aumentativo y alternativo para personas con discapacidad en el habla, es decir un
prototipo electrónico de comunicación que se basa en los métodos aumentativos y
alternativos que suelen emplear los terapeutas del lenguaje para ayudar en la mejora de
la comunicación. En este caso el tema de proyecto de enfoco en los niños con
discapacidad en el habla y para ello se fábrica un dispositivo electrónico que presenta
una pantalla táctil que presenta actividades, necesidades y emociones que deseen
realizar los niños representadas en pictogramas que no son más que imágenes o gráficos
que representan una actividad, necesidad o emoción que se quiera transmitir.
Dichas imágenes se pueden juntarse y al ser presionadas formar frases que son
enviadas al módulo Arduino que da la instrucción de convertir este texto o frase a voz a
través de un dispositivo sintetizador de voz y dicho mensaje a la vez se envía a un
teléfono celular mediante un módulo Bluetooth que comunica el dispositivo electrónico
con el teléfono para poder asistir a la persona con deficiencia en el habla en caso de no
estar cerca.
