Resumen:
La preparación actoral en la ciudad de Quito es impartida por diferentes escuelas, talleres
y academias que utilizan su propio sistema. El ha sido el eje para la
formación actoral alrededor del mundo. Este también es utilizado por formadores de actores
en la ciudad de Quito; sin embargo, muchos reniegan de él, lo han modificado e incluso lo
critican. En el presente trabajo de investigación se realiza un análisis cualitativo del sistema
Stanislavski utilizada en las escuelas de la ciudad de Quito. El trabajo se basa en la
información obtenida a través de entrevistas a profesionales del medio teatral. Los resultados
muestran que el sistema Stanislavski es el pilar para la formación de actores. La
investigación concluye que a partir del sistema Stanislavski se han creado otras técnicas
utilizadas actualmente por nuevos formadores.

In Quito city, several different schools, workshops and academies teach acting, and each
of them use their own system to train actors. One of the main methods used in the city and
all over the world is called Stanislavski's system, which is specially used by acting teachers
in Quito. However, many educators renege on it, modify it or even criticize it. This research
work carries out a qualitative analysis of the Stanislavski's system in the Acting schools in
Quito city. The work is based on the information obtained through interviews with
professionals of the theatrical medium. Furthermore, the results of this research describe the
Stanislavski's system as the main methodology for teaching acting. Finally, the analysis of
the Stanislavski's system will conclude the way it influenced and contributed to the creation
of different techniques, which are used by teachers nowadays.
