El "Contador de Descargas Atmosféricas", es actualmente un dispositivo que ya está
en el mercado, el enfoque de este diseño tiene diferentes ventajas, como el monitoreo remoto
a través de un enlace en RF (radiofrecuencia) a través de la interfaz Ethernet, también
presenta un registro de eventos dentro de su sistema operativo, creando un archivo plano del
número de descargas con información de fecha y hora, a un costo mucho más accesible y
que podría implementarse en cualquier Sistema de protección contra descargas atmosféricas,
también vale la pena mencionar que el dispositivo ha sido diseñado bajo software libre en
las cuales se pueden hacer mejoras y adaptaciones según el caso.
