Resumen:

Al momento de realizar una actividad o evento, el protocolo comprende una seria de reglas y códigos que se establecen por norma o costumbres, estas normas van a depender de la tipología del evento surgiendo diversas fases o etapas, la organización previa, el evento en sí y el post evento, cada una de estas fases tienen sus particularidades lo que conlleva a qué tipo de protocolo se debe seguir, siendo importante el involucramiento de los estudiantes en el proceso de aprendizaje o el ámbito profesional. En países como Italia, Estados Unidos, Francia y algunos de Latinoamérica se puede constatar la enseñanza de protocolo y etiqueta a forma de asignatura, talleres o cursos dentro de la malla curricular de las distintas carreras vinculadas al proceso del servicio y atención al cliente, es por esto que en la mayoría de eventos se puede contar con la presencia de estudiantes quienes ejecutan actividades como parte de sus prácticas profesionales. En el Ecuador son escasas las entidades de educación superior donde han contemplado al tema de protocolo y etiqueta dentro de la malla curricular, se puede encontrar varias ofertas de cursos y capacitaciones, sin embargo, la mayoría de veces sus costos son muy altos y poco accesibles para un estudiante. Dentro del Instituto Sudamericano, de la ciudad de Cuenca, se ha podido observar al momento de la organización de distintos eventos a nivel institucional, que los estudiantes no están capacitados para llevar a cabo todo el proceso que conlleva desde cómo se deben parar, recibir a los invitados, acompañamiento de autoridades, decoración, etc. y toda la organización y planificación que es de suma importancia para que los resultados sean exitosos. La ejecución de un ambiente virtual para la asignatura de protocolo y etiqueta, es una necesidad que presenta el Instituto Sudamericano, en vista de la falta de experticia por parte de los estudiantes al momento de desempeñarse en eventos dentro de la institución.

When carrying out an activity or event, the protocol includes a series of rules and codes that are established by norm or customs, these norms will depend on the typology of the event emerging various phases or stages, the previous organization, the event itself and the post event, each of these phases have their particularities which leads to what kind of protocol must be followed, the involvement of students in the process being important learning or professional field. In countries like Italy, the United States, France and some of Latin America it can be seen the teaching of protocol and etiquette in the form of a subject, workshops or courses within the mesh curricular of the different careers related to the service process and customer service, it is for this that in most events you can count on the presence of students who carry out activities as part of their professional practices. In Ecuador there are few higher education entities where they have contemplated the subject of protocol and etiquette within the curriculum, you can find several offers of courses and training, however, most of the time their costs are very high and little accessible to a student. Within the South American Institute, in the city of Cuenca, it has been possible to observe the moment of the organization of different events at the institutional level, that the students do not They are trained to carry out the entire process that entails from how they should be stopped, receive guests, accompaniment of authorities, decoration, etc. and the whole organization and planning that is of the utmost importance for the results to be successful. The execution of a virtual environment for the subject of protocol and etiquette, is a need presented by the South American Institute, in view of the lack of expertise on the part of students when performing in events within the institution.
