Resumen:

El deporte es una herramienta de desarrollo social. Es esencial para la salud física y el desarrollo humano. En Ecuador, en el año 2022, el deporte se convirtió en política de Estado. La Federación Ecuatoriana de Golf (FEG en adelante), en sus estatutos1 contempla impulsar el alto rendimiento de los golfistas ecuatorianos. La FEG tiene la responsabilidad de plantear, planificar, dirigir, ejecutar, incentivar y mantener el control de la mencionada disciplina en el país. Consecuentemente, es la organización encargada de impulsar la práctica general y el alto rendimiento del golf en el país. Además, la FEG es responsable de la formación y selección de técnicos deportivos y jugadores de golf que representan al país en las competencias tanto a nivel nacional como mundial. Por consiguiente, la FEG es la Institución que tiene la responsabilidad de trabajar por el desarrollo pedagógico y la capacitación de sus profesionales de enseñanza de la disciplina a nivel nacional. Históricamente, el Ecuador ha carecido de una estructura pedagógica de formación académica para los profesionales dedicados a la enseñanza de golf. Generalmente en el país, se asigna el título de profesor de golf al profesional que tiene buen desempeño deportivo y no necesariamente al que tiene la formación y competencia pedagógica en la disciplina. En el año 2020 se logró identificar la necesidad de crear una organización profesional de golf, con el fin de estructurar, categorizar y fomentar la capacitación académica en la disciplina con un enfoque técnico y soporte tecnológico. A partir de la fecha mencionada, la FEG ha venido realizando capacitaciones anuales en la perspectiva de unificar la metodología de enseñanza y en consecuencia elevar el nivel del deporte ecuatoriano en esta disciplina.

Sport is a tool for social development. It is essential for physical health and development human. In Ecuador, in the year 2022, sport became State policy. the federation Ecuatoriana de Golf (FEG hereinafter), in its statutes1 contemplates boosting the high performance of Ecuadorian golfers. The FEG is responsible for proposing, planning, directing, executing, encouraging and maintaining the control of the aforementioned discipline in the country. Consequently, it is the organization in charge of promote the general practice and high performance of golf in the country. In addition, the FEG is responsible for the training and selection of sports technicians and golf players who represent the country in the competitions both nationally and globally. Therefore, the FEG is the institution that has the responsibility of working for the pedagogical development and training of its professionals teaching of the discipline at the national level. Historically, Ecuador has lacked a pedagogical structure for academic training for professionals dedicated to teaching golf. Generally in the country, the title is assigned from a golf teacher to a professional who has a good sporting performance and not necessarily to the one who has the training and pedagogical competence in the discipline. In 2020, the need to create a professional golf organization was identified, with in order to structure, categorize and promote academic training in the discipline with a focus technical and technological support. As of the aforementioned date, the FEG has been carrying out annual training in the perspective of unifying the teaching methodology and consequently raise the level of Ecuadorian sport in this discipline.
