Resumen:
A lo largo de los años ha existido interés por modelos de enseñanza actualizados orientados a
cambiar la pedagogía fuera de contexto y la simple difusión del conocimiento. Desde entonces, los
modelos de enseñanza actualizados han generado mayor legitimidad, y así comenzaron algunas
ideas. A diferencia de la forma tradicional, donde el docente era la única autoridad y el único
portador del conocimiento, de esta manera, el docente no se convierte en la guía para el servicio y
las necesidades de los alumnos que es lo que se requiere en la actualidad.
Es necesario mencionar la teoría del aprendizaje significativo, en la que es preciso tener en
cuenta las ideas previas de cada alumno para vincular nuevos aprendizajes (Soria, Jiménez, &
Fanlo). Por ello, es imperativo contar con modelos de enseñanza que se adapten a cada alumno
según el contexto y la realidad actual, para que se logre un aprendizaje verdaderamente
significativo.
Los modelos pedagógicos se basan en los modelos psicológicos, sociológicos y comunicativos del
proceso de aprendizaje, por lo que esta relación es necesaria para orientar completamente la
exploración y renovación de los modelos de enseñanza. Según el autor (Ocaña).
De acuerdo al informe de la UNESCO (2022), en el nuevo informe titulado “Reimaginar juntos
nuestros futuros”; en Latinoamérica, se recomienda reformas urgentes y radicales en la educación
para abordar las injusticias del pasado y fortalecer nuestra capacidad de trabajar juntos por un
futuro más sostenible. Donde concluye que los métodos de enseñanza actuales son obsoletos e
incluso contraproducentes. Los sistemas educativos pueden contribuir más a la creación de
sociedades justas y pacíficas, un planeta saludable y el uso común del progreso humano por todos
sin excepción.
