dc.description	The automotive sector plays an important role in the country's economy, its development generates tax revenue for the state via tariffs and taxes and creates sources of employment during production processes and activities related to the trade of the same. The dynamism of the sector has increased lately and especially during the years after dollarization when the option to purchase durable goods was a alternative to the distrust of the population in the financial system”. (INEC, s.f.) It is important to make an analysis of the automotive sector, especially within the context of the repercussions that the global financial crisis has had on the market vehicle that today has become the primary means of mobilization for all people. “This analysis uses important information provided by the INEC and is supplemented with relevant data from other sources in order to establish the significance of the automotive sector in relation to the national economy, the manufacturing industry, the trade in goods and services and within household consumption”. (INEC, s.f.) “The sale, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles is an activity that generates significant income within the sector. dc.description.abstract	El sector automotriz tiene un rol importante dentro de la economía del país, su desarrollo genera ingresos fiscales para el estado vía aranceles e impuestos y crea fuentes de empleo durante los procesos de producción y las actividades relacionadas al comercio del mismo. El dinamismo del sector se ha incrementado últimamente y en especial durante los años posteriores a la dolarización cuando la opción de adquirir bienes duraderos fue una alternativa ante la desconfianza de la población en el sistema financiero”. (INEC, s.f.) Es importante hacer un análisis del sector automotriz, especialmente dentro del contexto de las repercusiones que la crisis financiera mundial ha tenido en el mercado automotor que hoy se ha vuelto como el medio de movilización primordial para todas las personas. “El presente análisis utiliza información importante ofrecida por el INEC y se complementa con datos relevantes de otras fuentes con el fin de establecer la importancia del sector automotriz en relación a la economía nacional, a la industria manufacturera, al comercio de bienes y servicios y dentro del consumo de los hogares”. (INEC, s.f.) “La venta, mantenimiento y reparación de vehículos automotores y motocicletas es una actividad que genera importantes ingresos dentro del sector.
