| Resumen : | El proyecto se realizó en la parroquia de Calderón, Provincia de Pichincha, debido a que en los últimos años, el turismo en el Ecuador ha venido desarrollando una continua expansión y diversificación, convirtiéndose en uno de los sectores económicos de mayor desarrollo y crecimiento. La Parroquia de Calderón ofrece a los turistas hermosos lugares donde podrán descansar y distraerse a pocos kilómetros del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito. La Parroquia de Calderón se caracteriza por contar con varios recursos turísticos como miradores, iglesias, las figuras de mazapán, música, danza y gastronomía que ha sido trasmitida de generación en generación, sin embargo a pesar de contar con esta variedad de recursos no ha sido explotada turísticamente. La Guía Turística describirá los sitios turísticos más importantes de la parroquia de Calderón con la finalidad de que los turistas puedan informarse y conocer sobre los diferentes atractivos turísticos que la parroquia de Calderón ofrece. En el desarrollo del proyecto se realizó un estudio de campo y entrevista al presidente de la Junta Parroquial de Calderón, señora Isabel Bejarano, con la finalidad de recabar información precisa que ayude como aporte de la presente investigación. | Descripción : | The project was carried out in the parish of Calderón, Province of Pichincha, due to the fact that in recent years, tourism in Ecuador has been developing a continuous expansion and diversification, becoming one of the economic sectors with the greatest development and growth. Calderon Parish offers tourists beautiful places to rest and relax a few miles from the Metropolitan District of Quito. The Parish of Calderon is characterized by having several tourist resources such as lookouts, churches, marzipan figures, music, dance and delicious cuisine that has been passed down from generation to generation, however, in spite of having this variety of resources, it has not been exploited for tourism. The Tourist Guide will describe the most important tourist sites in the parish of Calderon so that tourists can be informed and learn about the different tourist attractions that the parish of Calderon offers. In the development of the project a field study was carried out and an interview with the president of the Calderon's vestry, Mrs. Isabel Bejarano, in order to obtain precise information that helps as contribution of the present research.
