| Resumen : | La enfermedad renal crónica es considerada a escala mundial un importante problema de salud pública; la insuficiencia renal terminal se define como una alteración irreparable de la funcionalidad renal. La misma que dependiendo del cuadro clínico del paciente lo llevaría a un inicio emergente de una terapia renal sustitutiva. Para los pacientes que reciben el diagnóstico de enfermedad renal crónica estadio V, el tratamiento sustitutivo renal cambiará su estilo de vida de forma permanente y a larga data debido a que su rutina diaria y semanal se ve modificada. Además involucra técnicas altamente invasivas y demandantes que implantan cambios sustanciales en el entorno de la persona. Los pacientes que inician tratamiento sustitutivo renal deben acudir a la unidad de cuidados de forma trisemanal, con una duración de cuatro horas en cada sesión, por lo que es importante señalar que el tratamiento de hemodiálisis requiere continuidad y disciplina para que sea efectivo. El paciente inicia un cambio importante respecto a sus hábitos de alimentación. Evidentemente, para el paciente se despliegan múltiples estresores como problemas psicológicos, y sociales que requieren acompañamiento y vigilancia por parte de los familiares y personal de salud para que no se conviertan posteriormente en trastornos de ánimo y conductuales. Otro aspecto importante es la manera como los pacientes reciben el diagnóstico y posterior tratamiento, regularmente lo asocian a la probabilidad de muerte inmediata y ser una “carga” para sus familiares y de manera inmediata se despliegan una serie de pensamientos catastróficos; en consecuencia, una oportuna intervención y acompañamiento psicológico son fundamentales para que el proceso de adaptación al tratamiento sea favorable para el paciente y su familia. |
| Descripción : | Chronic kidney disease is considered a major health problem worldwide. public health; End-stage renal failure is defined as an irreparable alteration of the kidney functionality. The same that depending on the clinical picture of the patient would lead to a start emerging from renal replacement therapy. For patients diagnosed with stage V chronic kidney disease, the renal replacement therapy will change your lifestyle permanently and for a long time due to that your daily and weekly routine is modified. It also involves highly invasive techniques and plaintiffs who implement substantial changes in the person's environment. Patients who start renal replacement therapy should go to the intensive care unit every three weeks, with a duration of four hours in each session, so it is important point out that hemodialysis treatment requires continuity and discipline to be effective. The patient initiates an important change regarding their eating habits. Obviously, multiple stressors unfold for the patient as problems. psychological, and social that require accompaniment and surveillance by family members and health personnel so that they do not later become mood and behavioral disorders. Another important aspect is the way in which patients receive the diagnosis and subsequent treatment. treatment, they regularly associate it with the probability of immediate death and being a "burden" for their relatives and immediately a series of catastrophic thoughts unfold; in Consequently, a timely intervention and psychological accompaniment are essential to that the process of adaptation to treatment is favorable for the patient and his family. |
