| Resumen : | Desde el principio la institución mundial encargada de velar por los compendios laborales (OIT) se ha mostrado inquieta por las condiciones inseguras que se dan en ciertos trabajos, destacando dentro de ellos la minería. Lamentablemente, es difícil creer que a pesar de las gestiones realizadas de forma integral la actividad minera continúa siendo considerada la ocupación más peligrosa, basándose en aspectos como: mortalidad, lesiones y enfermedades laborales. (OIT, 2019) Como se mencionó previamente, la remoción de metales es decir la minería es una de las ocupaciones más nocivas a nivel global, no exclusivamente por el ámbito de la seguridad dentro de las instalaciones, más bien porque se ha podido evidenciar una estrecha relación entre la actividad minera, problemas pulmonares y la tuberculosis pulmonar. (Stop TB, 2020). En nuestro país la minería es uno de los principales ingresos económicos, sin embargo, el arduo trabajo y las diferentes condiciones en que se efectúa esta actividad pueden llegar afectar al ecosistema y sobre todo a la salud humana. (Bravo, 2016) A nivel mundial la tuberculosis se encuentra dentro del top 10 de las principales causas de mortalidad y en primer lugar si lo consideramos como único agente infeccioso incluso sobre el HIV. Aproximadamente 1.4 millones de personas fallecieron de TB en el año 2019. Se considera que entre los años 2000-2019 se asistió aproximadamente sesenta millones de personas, es decir fueron diagnosticadas a tiempo y recibieron el posterior tratamiento, es por ello uno de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) se centra en acabar con la epidemia de tuberculosis para 2030. (OMS,2020) De manera global, la tuberculosis perturba primordialmente a las personas que cursan los años económicamente más fecundos de su vida, lo cual crea una secuela económica y social. En Ecuador, el conjunto de edad más perjudicado por esta patología es el que se encuentra entre 25 y 34 años. (Boletín anual TB, 2018) |
| Descripción : | From the beginning, the world institution in charge of overseeing labor compendiums (ILO) was has shown concern about the unsafe conditions that occur in certain jobs, standing out within of them mining. Unfortunately, it is hard to believe that despite efforts made so mining activity continues to be considered the most dangerous occupation, based on aspects such as: mortality, injuries and occupational diseases. (ILO, 2019) As previously mentioned, the removal of metals, that is, mining, is one of the most harmful occupations globally, not exclusively in the field of security within facilities, rather because it has been possible to demonstrate a close relationship between the activity mining, lung problems and pulmonary tuberculosis. (Stop TB, 2020). In our country, mining is one of the main economic incomes, however, the arduous work and the different conditions in which this activity is carried out can affect the ecosystem and above all to human health. (Brave, 2016) Worldwide, tuberculosis is among the top 10 leading causes of mortality and in the first place if we consider it as the only infectious agent even on HIV.
