Resumen : Las comunidades amazónicas del Ecuador, a pesar de que desde hace muchas décadas atrás el Estado Ecuatoriano extrae minerales no renovables de estos territorios, no se han visto beneficiadas con los recursos que generan estas. Se extrae la riqueza de los territorios amazónicos pero los beneficios están direccionados hacia las grandes ciudades y a personas que ilícitamente se apropian de estas ganancias perjudicando a las comunidades autóctonas y dejando huellas de contaminación en estas tierras que no reciben la atención en infraestructura, vialidad, salud, vivienda, educación; que mejore las condiciones de vida de sus pobladores. La Comunidad Shuar Tayu (CUEVAS DE LOS TAYOS) en la Provincia de Pastaza en la Amazonia Ecuatoriana, tiene un emprendimiento turístico enfocado en sus atractivos naturales y culturales donde el fin es la conexión con la naturaleza conservando sus recursos e impulsando la sostenibilidad ambiental del turismo; sin embargo al no tener un sistema estratégico; no se le ha dado la relevancia que debería; la comunidad no cuenta con un plan de desarrollo turístico sostenible que impulse el turismo y capte el interés de turistas en una gran dimensión, a pesar de contar con los atractivos; por ello el objetivo es: Promover el progreso de la comunidad Shuar Tayu en el sector de “LAS CUEVAS DE LOS TAYOS” enfocado en el turismo, de la mano con la preservación del medio ambiente y en la calidad de vida de sus pobladores, mediante el diseño de un plan de desarrollo turístico, que permita introducir un sistema estratégico para impulsar el turismo nacional y extranjero, potenciando sus atractivos naturales y culturales de forma sostenible. Para lo cual se realizó una investigación a través de una metodología cualitativa que permitió describir las interacciones de la comunidad con el medio ambiente y como generan sus recursos, además de investigaciones bibliográficas e históricas realizadas en territorios semejantes que dan la pauta para la aplicabilidad de este proyecto, la investigación de campo que se realizó en el Territorio nos permitió realizar una evaluación de la situación actual de este sitio; con el apoyo de herramientas técnicas como las encuestas realizadas a turistas y el análisis FODA, nos permitió obtener las estrategias que desencadenan en 5 programas y 16 proyectos y concluir que El Plan de Desarrollo Turístico Sostenible en “LAS CUEVAS DE LOS TAYOS”, permite que el emprendimiento de esta familia Shuar impulse un turismo sostenible y capte el interés de turistas en un mayor nivel; con esto mejoran la calidad de vida de la comunidad porque los recursos que se generan del turismo son reinvertidos en mejoras de los espacios y atractivos; sin dejar de lado la implementación de redes de agua potable, educación, salud, vialidad y mejoramiento en la infraestructura. Esto permite que todos los miembros de la familia se empoderen del proyecto y tengan una participación activa en este proceso, que generará empleo e ingresos económicos que mejoren su estado actual; impidiendo que las personas de la comunidad busquen réditos en otras actividades que destruyen los bosques, además evita que las nuevas generaciones se aparten de sus costumbres y pierdan su identidad cultural porque el turismo genera un impacto económico para que la comunidad no necesite de otros ingresos, viva de su cultura, naturaleza y prevalezcan sus raíces.
Descripción : The Amazonic communities of Ecuador State has been extracting non-renewable minerals from these territories for many decades, it has not benefited from the resources generated by them. The wealth of the Amazonian territories is extracted but the benefits are directed towards the big cities and to people who illegally appropriate these gains, harming the indigenous communities and leaving traces of pollution in these lands that do not receive attention in infrastructure, roads, health, housing, education; that improves the living conditions of its inhabitants. The Shuar Tayu Community (CUEVAS DE LOS TAYOS) in the Pastaza Province in the Ecuadorian Amazon has a tourism venture focused on its natural and cultural attractions where the end is the connection with nature, conserving its resources and promoting the environmental sustainability of tourism; however, not having a strategic system; it has not been given the relevance it should; The community doesn't have a sustainable tourism development plan that boosts tourism and captures the interest of tourists in a large dimension, despite having the attractions; Therefore, the objective is to: Promote the progress of the Shuar Tayu community in the sector of the Caves of the TAYOS focused on tourism, hand in hand with the preservation of the environment and the quality of life of its inhabitants, through design of a tourism development plan, which allows the introduction of a strategic system to boost national and foreign tourism, enhancing its natural and cultural attractions in a sustainable way. For which an investigation was carried out through a qualitative methodology that allowed describing the interactions of the community with the environment and how they generate their resources, in addition to bibliographic and historical research carried out in similar territories that give the guideline for the applicability of this project, the field research that was carried out in the territory allowed us to evaluate the current situation of this site; With the support of technical tools such as tourist surveys and SWAT analysis, it allowed us to obtain the strategies that trigger 5 programs and 16 projects and conclude that the Sustainable Tourism Development Plan in “LAS CUEVAS DE LOS TAYOS”, allows entrepreneurship this Shuar family promotes sustainable tourism and captures the interest of tourists at a higher level; with this, they improve the quality of life of the community because the resources that are generated from tourism are reinvested in improvements of spaces and attractions; without neglecting the implementation of potable water, education, health, road, and infrastructure improvement networks. This allows all family members to be empowered by the project and have an active participation in this process, which will generate employment and economic income that improve their current status; preventing people from the community from looking for revenue in other activities that destroy forests, also prevents new generations from departing from their customs and losing their cultural identity because tourism generates an economic impact so that the community doesn't need other income, life from their culture, nature and their roots prevail.
