dc.description	At present, traditional teaching methodologies have lagged behind the development of new technologies that have opened new ways of imparting knowledge. Such is the case of virtual classrooms that constitute spaces where students can interact and learn through the use of ICTs. Hence, this paper proposes the development of a virtual classroom for the subject of data networks that will support the educational process of third-year high school students. For this, an investigation with a mixed approach is carried out. The unit of analysis was the 32 students and four professors of said teaching, to which a questionnaire is applied that allows to know about the use of ICTs and the feasibility of developing the proposal. dc.description.abstract	En la actualidad las metodologías de enseñanza tradicionales han quedado atrás frente al desarrollo de las nuevas tecnologías que han abierto nuevas formas de impartir conocimiento. Tal es el caso de las aulas virtuales que constituyen espacios donde los estudiantes pueden interactuar y aprender a través del uso de las Tic. De aquí que el presente trabajo propone el desarrollo de un aula virtual para la asignatura de redes de datos que sirva de apoyo al proceso educativo de estudiantes de tercer año de bachillerato. Para ello se realiza una investigación con enfoque mixto. La Unidad de análisis fueron los 32 estudiantes y cuatro profesores de dicha enseñanza, a los cuales se les aplica un cuestionario que permite conocer sobre el uso de las Tic y la factibilidad del desarrollo de la propuesta.
