El presente trabajo de investigación presenta la problemática en la escuela “Alejandro Cárdenas” ubicada en Quito – Ecuador, la institución no cuenta con una página web, que permita mejorar la comprensión lectora y el interés por el mismo por medio de las TIC en los estudiantes de nivel medio. El objetivo fue desarrollar una entorno virtual aprendizaje con una herramienta 2.0, que sirva para elevar el interés por la lectura en los estudiantes de nivel medio de educación general básica de la escuela Alejandro Cárdenas. La metodología utilizada fue el constructivismo y conectivismo basada en las teorías de Piaget, Ausubel, Vygotsky y Siemens. La investigación se fundamentó en un enfoque mixto utilizando datos cualitativos y cuantitativos. Se trabajó con una página web 2.0 – WEBNODE considerando que dentro de la institución será una gran ayuda para los estudiantes y personal docente, muy amigable de fácil uso, muy interactiva y llamativa ayuda al proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje lector, no necesita que se compre un dominio para su uso. Por último, la propuesta fue valorada por especialistas concluyendo que la propuesta es excelente para estudiantes de quinto, sexto y séptimo años de educación general básica permite el aprendizaje lector.

Abstract
This research work presents the problem at the "Alejandro Cárdenas" school located in Quito - Ecuador, the institution does not have a web page that allows improving the teaching process in reading and interest in it through ICT in middle level students. The objective was to develop a virtual learning environment with a 2.0 tool, which serves to increase the interest in reading in the students of the medium level of basic general education at the Alejandro Cárdenas school. The methodology used was constructivism and connectivism based on the theories of Piaget, Ausubel, Vygotsky and Siemens. The research was based on a mixed approach using qualitative and quantitative data. We worked with a web page 2.0 - WEBNODE considering that within the institution it will be a great help for students and teaching staff, very friendly and easy to use, very interactive and striking aid to the teaching-learning process, you do not need to buy a domain to its use. Finally, the proposal was valued by specialists, concluding that the proposal is excellent for students of fifth, sixth and seventh years of basic general education that allows reading learning.
