Resumen:

Este proyecto de investigación se realiza en el Colegio Internacional “Rudolf Steiner”, que está situado en el sector norte de la ciudad de Quito en Cochapamba. Esta institución particular se destaca por su calidad en la formación integral de sus estudiantes, tiene un total de 283 estudiantes y 38 docentes en las tres secciones de preescolar, primaria y secundaria. El área del conocimiento de este proyecto es Matemáticas, que según la definición de la RAE (Real Academia Española) (2021) es la ciencia deductiva que estudia las propiedades de los objetos abstractos, como símbolos, figuras geométricas, números y sus relaciones. En este sentido, el estudio y comprensión de esta asignatura es muy importante en la vida de toda persona, ya que el aprendizaje de las matemáticas implica un crecimiento del aspecto cognitivo que está relacionado con el pensamiento analítico y el razonamiento ordenado, muy importantes porque son necesarios para resolver problemas, ya que se necesita de un proceso de análisis coherente, para organizar las ideas y expresarlas de una forma correcta y así poder resolver cualquier contratiempo por pequeño que sea; además, está el desarrollo de la agilidad mental, que facilita la resolución rápida de situaciones en las que se requiere de un pensamiento lógico, de tomar una decisión o de un cálculo de probabilidades, todo esto se aprende en la asignatura de matemáticas. Esta ciencia deductiva otorga al ser humano un conocimiento que le acompaña durante toda su existencia, porque está presente en cualquier faceta de la vida cotidiana, como, por ejemplo, a la hora de administrar ahorros, gestionar el tiempo, solucionar problemas, usar cajeros automáticos, al realizar compras, preparar una receta, al aprender las nuevas tecnologías, entre otras muchas cosas. A la vez, las matemáticas contribuyen a la formación de un estilo para enfrentarse a la realidad de manera lógica, organizada, coherente y para una mejor comprensión de la utilización de símbolos, de la capacidad de abstracción, razonamiento y generalización.

This research project is carried out at the "Rudolf Steiner" International College, which is located in the northern sector of the city of Quito in Cochapamba. This particular institution stands out for its quality in the comprehensive training of its students, it has a total of 283 students and 38 teachers in the three sections of preschool, primary and secondary. The area of knowledge of this project is Mathematics, which according to the definition of the RAE (Real Spanish Academy) (2021) is the deductive science that studies the properties of objects abstract, such as symbols, geometric figures, numbers and their relationships. In this sense, the study and understanding of this subject is very important in the life of every person, since the learning of mathematics implies a growth of the cognitive that is related to analytical thinking and orderly reasoning, very important because they are necessary to solve problems, since a process is needed of coherent analysis, to organize ideas and express them in a correct way and thus be able to resolve any setback no matter how small; In addition, there is the development of agility mental, which facilitates the rapid resolution of situations in which a thought is required logic, making a decision or a calculation of probabilities, all this is learned in the math subject. This deductive science grants the human being a knowledge that accompanies him during all its existence, because it is present in any facet of daily life, such as, for example, when it comes to managing savings, managing time, solving problems, using ATMs automatic, when making purchases, preparing a recipe, when learning new technologies, among many other things. At the same time, mathematics contributes to the formation of a style for face reality in a logical, organized, coherent manner and for a better understanding of the use of symbols, of the capacity for abstraction, reasoning and generalization.
