dc.description	The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO 2021) considers it substantial to strengthen the teaching of mathematics since it is an element essential to achieve a better quality of life and development. Therefore, with the desire to honor its value, every March 14th International Mathematics Day is celebrated, a date proclaimed by this organism. Mathematics is part of the basic knowledge of a human being, it is present in school curricula around the world. One aspect to take into account is the need to raise students' taste for Mathematics and teachers of tools for promote the application of ICT tools. In Ecuador, the results of the PISA-D for Development tests revealed that 70.9% of students did not reach a level two or basic to solve mathematical problems. The area in which they have the most problems is Mathematics, where they obtained 377 points, that is, 53 points more in PISA-D and two in Latin America (El Comercio, 2018). The role played by the Mathematics teacher is complex and dynamic, because in their work influence multiple factors derived from the sociocultural environment in which it operates (Hernández & Lezama, 2019). Referring to the importance of mathematics Lezcano, et al. (2018) express that "this is a fundamental subject in the life of any student and traditionally it has been considered difficult. To transform that negative thought you must adopt new teaching-learning strategies from the beginning of the formation of the individual". Mathematics is present in all daily life situations, from childhood we learn numbers, to count objects, then to add, and to perform operations with greater complexity; to reason, pose, argue and mathematically solve problems extracted of everyday life using the best strategy. In this context we apply the knowledge necessary to understand and analyze the world in order to solve problems.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	La Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (UNESCO 2021) considera sustancial fortalecer la enseñanza de las matemáticas dado que es un elemento esencial para lograr una mejor de la calidad de vida y desarrollo. Por ello, con el afán de honrar su valor, cada 14 de marzo se celebra el Día Internacional de la Matemática, fecha proclamada por este organismo. La matemática forma parte de los conocimientos básicos de un ser humano, está presente en los currículos escolares de todo el mundo. Un aspecto a tener en cuenta es la necesidad de elevar en los estudiantes el gusto por la Matemática y a docentes de herramientas para fomentar la aplicación de herramientas TIC. En Ecuador, los resultados de las pruebas PISA-D para el Desarrollo, revelaron que el 70,9% de estudiantes no alcanzó un nivel dos o básico para resolver problemas matemáticos. El área en que tienen más inconvenientes es Matemáticas, donde obtuvieron 377 puntos, es decir, 53 puntos más en PISA-D y a dos de América Latina (El Comercio, 2018). El rol que desempeña el profesor de Matemática es complejo y dinámico, porque en su labor inciden múltiples factores derivados del entorno sociocultural en el que se desenvuelve (Hernández & Lezama, 2019). Refiriéndose a la importancia de la matemática Lezcano, et al (2018) expresan que “esta es una asignatura fundamental en la vida de cualquier estudiante y tradicionalmente se le ha considerado difícil. Para transformar ese pensamiento negativo deben adoptarse nuevas estrategias de enseñanza-aprendizaje desde que se inicie la formación del individuo”. La matemática está presente en todas las situaciones cotidianas de la vida, desde niños aprendemos los números, a contar objetos, luego a sumar, y realizar operaciones con mayor complejidad; a razonar, plantear, argumentar y resolver matemáticamente problemas extraídos de la vida cotidiana utilizando la mejor estrategia. En este contexto aplicamos los conocimientos necesarios para comprender y analizar el mundo con el fin de resolver problemas.	es_ES
