Resumen:
En el modelo Andragógico los estudiantes llegan a la actividad educativa con mayor experiencia y
conocimiento previo; por lo que es necesario que el estudiante pueda utilizar sus competencias para
avanzar en su aprendizaje; el estudio de idiomas extranjeros para la mayoría de personas es un
proceso complejo y más aún cuando el proceso se lleva a través de modelos tradicionales que no
permiten técnicas que aprovechan el conocimiento previo y la disposición para aprender del
estudiante adulto. La investigación propone la educación de idiomas extranjeros a través del uso de
estrategias, técnicas y medios convenientes para la enseñanza y el aprendizaje considerando las
características propias de los estudiantes en la fase de adultez; con el avance tecnológico es más
viable que el estudiante se sienta motivado para realizar tareas que sean de su interés y en las que
vean la importancia del conocimiento que están adquiriendo, a través de juegos, simuladores y
herramientas digitales que pueden aplicar su uso en otros ámbitos. Actualmente el docente de
idiomas extranjeros enfrenta el reto de innovar su conocimiento de manera permanente y renovar las
metodologías que emplea en sus clases para utilizar herramientas tecnológicas que incrementen las
capacidades cognitivas de los estudiantes en la etapa de Andragogía.

Abstract- In the Andragogic model, students arrive at the educational activity with greater
experience and prior knowledge; reason why it is necessary that the student can use his competitions
to advance in his learning; The study of foreign languages for most people is a complex process, and
even more so when the process is carried out through traditional models that do not allow techniques
that take advantage of the previous knowledge and willingness to learn of the adult student. The
research proposes the education of foreign languages through the use of strategies, techniques and
convenient means for teaching and learning considering the characteristics of the students in the
adulthood phase; With technological advancement, it is more feasible for the student to feel
motivated to carry out tasks that are of interest to them and in which they see the importance of the
knowledge they are acquiring, through games, simulators and digital tools that can be applied to
others areas. Currently, the foreign language teacher faces the challenge of permanently innovating
his knowledge and renewing the methodologies that he uses in his classes to use technological tools
that increase the cognitive abilities of students in the andragogy stage.
